Later the Lord Satyanarayana's idol or image on betel leaf should be worshipped through panchamruta abhisheka. Later, the nine planets should be worshipped by placing areca nuts on betel leaves followed by Lord Indra and other Dikpaalakaas. This puja is conducted to ensure abundance in ones life. This story was originally told by Lord Vishnu himself to the sage Narada for the benefit of humankind.
